Wild Blueberry
Newfoundland knows wild blueberries. Not the plump, cultivated kind — the real ones, low to the ground, bursting with a flavour so concentrated and intense it stops you mid-step on a late summer hike. That flavour is what this tea tastes like, and the remarkable thing is there isn't a single blueberry in it. Elderberries, raisins, and hibiscus come together on a bold black tea base and conjure something almost impossibly true to the real thing — deep, jammy, and intoxicatingly aromatic, like the barrens in August. If you know, you know. And if you're not from here, one sip and you'll wish you were.

How to make the perfect cup
Add one scoop
One heaping teaspoon per cup, straight into your infuser.
Pour just-off-boil water
Around 95°C. Let the kettle settle a few seconds after it clicks off.
Steep 4 minutes
Let it open up, then drink. For a stronger taste, let it steep for up to 5 minutes.
Why loose leaf tastes better
A tea bag holds the dust left over after the good pieces are sorted out. Loose leaf is the whole fruit and leaf, with room to open up in the water. Then there's how it's put together: Nicole ran kitchens in Gambo and Gander for twenty years, and every blend is built by taste, the way a chef builds a dish, sampled and refined at our table until it's right.

Is there sugar or artificial sweetener in the natural flavours?
No. There's no added sugar and no artificial sweeteners or flavours in any of our blends. The sweetness you taste comes from real ingredients like dried fruit, berries and flower petals, and any natural flavours are just that: natural. Every blend is 100% organic, so what's in the bag is what you taste.
How much tea is in a pack, and how do I brew it?
Mini makes 3 cups, Small about 15 cups, Regular about 40 cups.
New to loose leaf? It's easy. For a cup, use one teaspoon. Pour water just off the boil (around 95°C), steep 2 to 5 minutes, then lift out the leaves.
You'll need something to hold the leaves while they steep. We sell paper tea filters, ball infusers and infusers that sit right in your mug.
